Forum of Leadership and International Policy

The Forum of Leadership and International Policy (FLIP) prepares students seeking to become agents of change in the global arena. Our core curriculum stresses three fundamentals needed in international leadership: education, adeptness in navigating politics, and a grasp of international government and law. Through our partnership with elite educators and world leaders, FLIP teaches students how to transition from being an elite student to a world-impact maker.
FLIP programs engage with some of the world’s top universities. Last year’s students visited half of the eight ivy league schools and some of America’s other top universities such as Princeton, Yale, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania and George Washington University. The significance of this experience cannot be over-estimated. The program is structured to prepare students in their understanding of the American education system and provide opportunities for engagement with influential leaders in government and international affairs.
There is no better place to experience this dynamic than Washington D.C. 176 embassies call Washington D.C. their home. Because of its international character, D.C. functions as a power hub where nations of the world meet, making decisions that effect billions of lives. While in D.C., students are privileged to interact with leaders who are making those world-shaping policies. The FLIP experience also takes students inside the United Nations where issues such as famine, genocide, and disease are being confronted daily. Observing first hand how the international sphere works, enables students to envision how they can make a difference, now and in the future.
No other program offers a package as complete and diverse as FLIP. FLIP connects students to world power centers, preparing them to see and approach leadership and international relations in a new, practical and refreshing way. A life-changing experience for every participant, FLIP exposes students into effective ways of changing the world while linking them directly to people already making a difference.
A final, detailed schedule will be sent out to all participants two months before the program. A short introduction from our expected speakers, hosts and student leaders will also be attached. Together we can do great things in this world!
